HU: Older Canon with 50/1.9

I don't know my old, Barnack type Canon's well enough to identify this model, but here ya go:

This looks like a Canon IVsb, but I could be wrong here. The bid is about $150 now. With the 50mm lens, a max of $200 is reasonable.

Can't tell for sure due to the lousy pictures, but it appears to be a Canon II or III series camera, probably a IIIa. The IVsB has a side-mounted flash rail, and this one does not have that feature. Agree that $200 is probable a decent guess as to value, maybe a little higher. I would know for sure if I could check my copy of the Dechert book on Canons.

Just checked the serial number from Dechert's book- it is a Canon III

Mark: I should have recalled the side flash attachment in the IVsb.

looks like a III if the top shutter speed is 1/1000 sec.
the IIIA had the newer style knobs and vf lever.
