Koni-Omegaflex.
You don't see these very often and it looks very complete.

I love the way it looks like a raygun.
Homeland security would go apeshit if they saw you with this.

I read recently that Mamiya was the only maker of an interchangeable lens TLR. Correct me if I an in error but that is what were are looking at here right? And interchangeable lens TLR? With a removable film back no less. I have never seen one like this before. Very cool.
I just looked the first time and didn't read the text.

Wow. I know I can't afford where this auction will end up, but a bump for the sheer cool factor. I'd imagine it's almost as good as a Speed Graphic for "crowd control."

Dante Stella has a review of the camera here:
http://www.dantestella.com/technical/omegaflex.html
'In terms of size, it is roughly double the size of a Rolleiflex 3.5MX in its major dimensions.'

It brings to mind the Dundee quote
'That's not a twin lens reflex...
'...Now this's a twin lens reflex.'
And I used to think that my Mamiya C220 was big.

Interesting for sure. I don't remember that I had never heard of that model. It does look like a huge puppy. One of the photos makes if look as if you would look at the viewing lens directly rather than reflex. I wonder if that is so and if it was upside down and backwards.

It must take quite a bit of effort to hold it at eye level. Add that to the disorientated view and it seems like you'd have to be something of a masochist to use this camera.
