Hurry Darkavenger !

Hey Ruben!!! I've got already a Kiev-2A... figure... I lost an auction on a Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar 35mm f/2.8 all of this because my browser was too slow... I was overbidden at the last 20 seconds... damn it! grrrr...

but to avenge this ... I'm getting a jupiter-3 50/1.5 :D Waiting for the seller to contact me ;) Tomorrow morning I'll go pickup my collapsible sonnar, and hopefully the 85/2 J-9 will be here too :D

cheers, max :)

I was looking at that one too. I didn't bid on it though. I was talking with the seller and he gave me the impression not to use it as an everyday camera. He suggested I get a Kiev 4 as a user instead. I tried to clarify why. Unfortunately, he mentioned that he seldom answers e-mails from Friday to Sunday. I've delt with him before and he's stuff is really good. That's why it's so strange that I got that impression. Oh well......I guess it's a sign for me to get a J-12 instead. :D

Indeed the IIa's are a kind of oldies not ready for workhorse, but but such a model and that seller I would take the chance, if I was not looking for a horsework but more selective use, as I do with my Fedka's IIa. I do not think ANY IIa should be used as a workhorse unless you have repairman's skills.

Note the seriousness and good intentions of Cupog.

Regards,
Ruben

Oki :) Well I was telling myself you must be near my part of the world :) 7:16am... time to get a shower and then I'll go grab the Sonnar! :D

I agree. :)

UPDATE: Cupog gave me an anology regarding why I should consider a Kiev 4 instead. He mentioned that if you had an old car and a newer car. Which would you be driving everyday. I understand what he means but personally, I'd rather drive an old car. :D
