I couldn't use it. I would feel so self conscious. I already feel that way when I shoot in public anyway. Without a gold camera.

I have to Admit, seeing an SRT 101 without scratches makes me long for my old SRT 101. It was a solid performer with a nice range of glass and a good old match needle metering system.

I'll bet the "gold" on this is one of the new Krylon metallics. The finish looks good. But it's so damned gaudy.

I'll take the Krylon comment back. I think it's plated. Have a look at the knobs screws and lever. Maybe if he plated them with platinum instead of gold 😉
