A friend of mine bought a hyatt rival camera at a flea market. I have not seen it, but she said the bellows is in good shape and the shutter works. Any suggestion on how to obtain an estimate on its value.

H.A. Hyatt was a photographic supply house in St. Louis around the turn of the 20th century. According to this thread they didn't manufacture their own stuff,
just rebranded, like Sears.

My guess is that its value mostly depends on the type and condition of the lens and shutter, the format and the eye appeal of the camera. If it's big and brass it'll fetch more.
