Dad Photographer
Tomorrow, I am driving with my family to the Great Smoky Mountains, in Tennessee (USA). It is one of my favorite places for photography and for unwinding in the beautiful nature there. There are mountains and streams and meadows and animals and waterfalls. It will be rather cold (for a Floridian like me), but I will manage.
I will take along the following equipment:
1. My newly acquired Horizon 202 35mm panorama camera.
2. Bessa T plus maybe a Canon rangefinder body as back-up.
Lenses: 25mm/35mm/50mm/90mm and that's it. The 25mm CV and the Canon 35mm/1.8 both are tiny and feather-light. The 50mm lens will most likely be a Summicron and so will the 90mm. This is far lighter than my usual Canon SLR outfit for the Smokies, which typically includes a Canon 500mm/4.5L lens plus a variety of Canon lenses from 7.5mm up.
I will miss this forum for a while, but will be back to see how people are doing.
Cheers,
Raid
