How about FSU glass on Canon bodies? or non Canon glass on a Canon, like your former CV 35mm f2.5, I am sure it was still a fine lens on your Canon P. Any combination that works for you. that gives you good results, and you feel good about , is all that matters, nothing is blasphamy.
