Hello Skiff,

Have you used the AF-D 2/135 DC Nikkor? If so, how does it compare to the 105mm and the 85mm above?

I had the 135 DC2 and the 85 1.4D on a D700. The 135 was superb (though it had some CA wide open) but I rarely used it as I preferred the 85mm FOV. The 85 1.4D is magic.

The old 105 f2.5 sonnar is a great lens too and is very inexpensive.

I'm with Shawn, big fan of the 85mm 1.4D and the old 105 2.5 MF lens. Have had good luck with both on an F6 and my old F4s.
