I broke my digilux 2 LCD panel. Does anyone knows how much its gonna cost me? Im in mexico am I gonna need to send it to germany for repair?

This is one thing I hate about digital cameras, their flimsy construction. I could kill somebody with one of my old Nikon 35s and it wouldn't be fazed.

What did you break? just the plastic cover or the whole panel? Replacing the plastic "glass" is a DIY job on almost all digital camera's.
May I hit you with my 10D poptart? I'm sure it would do you more harm than the camera 😀 😀

I Broke the Plastic (or crystal) window. the image is fine. I see everything clear but through a crack crystal.

Im in mexico, its gonna cost me a lot of money to send it to USA just for that! but im afraid of taking it to a no authorize repair center here in mexico. Besides, do you think a normal repair man is gonna find a plastic-crystal the same size?

Any advice?
