Congratulations Peter! I am looking at the MP3 LHSA body right now. Can't decide between it and the M7. Hmmm...........

I would go for the MP. I am currently selling my silver 0.72 M7 to help pay for an M8. I will be keeping both my older M3s and an M6TTL. I loved the quiet shutter of the M7, but I just don't care for AE -- don't really use it, truth be told. Plus I have a G2 and a Canon 5D if I feel like turning off the light exposure part of my brain. . .

Like you I also have a M6 TTL and two M3s. The M6 TTL is my regular body. I was considering the M7 because the AE would speed up my photography in certain situations. But the chrome MP3 LHSA is gorgeous!

Have you already sold the M7? I am still interested!

That's mine too. .85 beautiful black (but mine's the laquer). My only criticism is I am sometimes apprehensive to take such an expensive camera to certain areas where I like to shoot street photography.

congrats -you'll love it. I was tempted between M7 and MP at that time and never regretted having dicided for the MP. It's t h e perfect tool. Enjoy it.

Get one of each. I did and couldn't be happier. My everyday carry around rig is the MP, but I love the AE of the M7 and take it for a drive occasionally. Congrats!
