Looks very clean to me. I'd say ya did good. I don't own a FED [yet], but from a purely asthetic point of view, that model is very attractive to me. Enjoy, enjoy!

Looks sweet Chris. 🙂 I really like the nylon covering. I had it on my Zorki 6 and it felt good. I like it better than the vulcanite.

Looks great!
One of the newer ones. It has the new shutter speed sequence. It also has the elevated acc shoe. All good.
My second one looked just like that before I replaced the nylon with light brown leather.

I think I might replace the covering with something a little more... something. 🙂 It looks like its coming up in a couple places. I need to do this to my Fed 5, too.
I got my I-61 fixed up pretty well, so now I just need to get the RF on the 5 adjusted, if I can figure it out. I think can get the infinity fixed, but I don't know how to change the vertical alignment.

As far as coverings go for that model (w/out strap lugs) cameraleather.com can supply them. It’s the same fit as the FED3b and the FED2L (looks like a FED3b w/thumb winder but no slow speeds). I have ordered a set for my FED2L (the cobra skin model in my gallery) and a friends FED2 that the same as yours... Nice fit and plenty of tasty covering options.
