Just looked up the LSPF book on Blurb - terribly frustrating that they ran a number of the photos across the gutter. Not even double-truck spreads, just a third or less of the photo running across.
I don't get it when book designers do that - it's bad design and bad for appreciating the photography.

I don't like it in photo books either, but I can see their dilemma with having to deal with panoramic photography alongside everyone else shooting less spectacular formats. at least the catalogue is not very thick so it's easier to flatten the double page when you look at it than some of these massive photo books.
