I did it! I bought my first Leica M 😀😀😀
I got a M6 here in the classified and a brand new 50mm ZM to go with it.
I´ve wanted one for years although I have only handled a few. I have a few cheap rangefinders, Zorki 4, Fed 3 ( sold it actually after a few rolls) Yashica GSN and Minister D and the last one I got was the Canonett. That camera made me realize that a rangefinder is my kinda photography and I started looking for a Leica.
When I first handled it I felt like a had a real camera in my hands, I had a similar feeling when I started shooting with a Hasselblad but this is something else. It is so solid that my Canon 5D feels like a plastic toy next to it 🙄. This camera makes me wanna shoot and shoot and shoot and then shoot some more 😛
I´ve only managed to get one roll through it for now (got it this week).
I shot a Tri-x, pushed to 1600 cause of the low light I had and souped it in xtol.
Just finished making the first print 😀
Just wanted to share my happiness with you cause I know you all understand. My non photographing friends and family have no idea what the fuzz is all about 😀😉
