Well, I was given the task of emptying an apartment by an elderly lady who is going off to a care center.
She took me and another guy as contracted people and part of the contract states that we can keep anything we want from the apartment as everything is going to scrap.
While carrying a night table i spilled the contents of its tables in front of me, found some papers and old medicine and this here thing, I don't know nothing about Omegas although i have a watch obsession...
I have talked to the lady about some things we have found and she said i can keep it that for the time she will be on this earth she won't need such things...
Could you help identify this one ? What is it worth ?
She got it some 40-50 years ago so i doubt its a fake ...

Hard to tell from the pictures , but what is the condition? Size? Automatic Wind or Handwind? Working condition?
I am not an expert but just a guy who likes and collects watches and reads quite a bit about them. So, just guessing, it is probably the real deal. Vintage Omegas are not rare (just look on ebay). I am guessing it is worth a couple hundred bucks at best and will need a cleaning and probably new crystal. There may be experts on here who can pin it down more precisely.
Nice find, however. Omega is one of the higher volume premium watch makers and make quality goods.
