thanks jan. the logo really doesn't bother me...which is strange because i normally take them off all my bags first thing. i think it makes it look less like a camera bag, another thing i never worry about. with a camera in my hand a thief would have to be even dumber than normal not to realize it's a camera bag.

it's working great so far, much more protected than in the little terraclime but not bulky at all.
and thankfully no one has gone running in the other direction because of it's appearance!

now remember, this bag will only work with my camera and one of my lenses (they are all pretty much the same size) but that should make the one camera, one lens folks happy.

Nice bag. I like the blockish, utilitarian design. I'm indifferent about the logo. I mean, come on, my camera says "Leica" on the front and has a red "Leitz" bug on it. Glass houses and all that. As far as ugly goes, to each their own. I find Billinghams look impossibly "old man." But then, I own and use four Crumpler bags. To each their own, thankfully.

this reminds me of a bumper sticker campaign that made its way through Chicago (and perhaps elsewhere for all I know) in the late 60's or early 70's in support of some evangelical movement.

the original bumper sticker read: "I found it."

some counter group, probably in jest, started putting out bumper stickers that said: "I lost it."

this was followed, inevitably, a few weeks later by yet another wave of stickers that read: "I am it."

And my favorite sticker was the one that said "I stepped in it!"

update...

i'm back to using the domke 5xa..it's almost as small as the golla but it holds all 3 lenses along with the body. if i want more room i have the 5xb.

i hope to take an up close and in person look at the think tanks ud 10 and 20 soon.

hopelessly mired in the great bag pursuit...
