I got it! My Nikonos-III arrived! I'm happy as can be right now. 🙂

See it in all its glory _here_ .

One question, though. How do I open the camera? And does anyone have a manual (or a copy or a pdf-file) of the Nikonos-III that I can have? I think I'll have to do some reading before I take this baby out and about.

Congrats!

Remove the lens first! Then use the lever thingys attached to the ends of the neckstrap to pry the body case away from the top/camera.

There's really nothing to read up on. Scale focus, shutter speed, aperture, point, press the button.

You might also try Craig Cameras (don't have the link handy). He has EVERYTHING (over 80,000 manuals) and is a really nice guy to deal with.

That online manual is great! Now I know how to get the lens off the body. 🙂
