the really truly sad thing is that today i was thinking that i need yet another bag...something in leather and small enough to carry a body with lens and another lens...i could see it in my mind...nice smooth, buttery black leather, no inserts, deep enough to hold a camera with lens to the side, easy in and out...

At yesterday's NYC meet-up we've poking fun of you and your bags actually, I'm not sure who's bag triggered it but you should come for the next and bring a collection. Fore sure it will be fun. Maybe you can get rid of a few. Other option is always donation for some members in need or as a prize for a RFF contest - I got rid of one😉.

actually, i have given several bags away to friends and i did donate a new think tank as a prize here at rff.

Popflash.com - A&A GCAM 1100 in soft glove leather...

It's expensive but beautiful. Does have an insert, right now mine is holding the M9 fitted with Nokton 50/1.5 ASPH with the Hektor 135 alongside. Very trim but lots of space in the front zippered pocket too.

I bought it secondhand but unused for half the usual selling price. A darn good deal. 🙂

a pedestrian surprise...
turns out the domke 5xa is the perfect size to hold my xe1 with 18 attached and the 35 sitting atop the tiny fuji flash...some sd cards and a couple of extra batteries...it's just not leather nor particularly attractive...but there is one on my shelf already...seems the perfect daily bag and maybe even for travelling light.

I decided not to start another thread, but wanted to say that my new Think Tank Sub Urban Disguise showed up today. It is the same size as my old Lowepro Nova 4, and it has a spot for my tablet. Not perfect, but it solves the tablet and camera problem with one bag instead of two. I should be set for a while.
 
I just counted my camera bag assemblage. 14. I've been especially good to the Lowepro company. One backpack is on ebay right now, and some more should go as well. Then I will probably buy some more. I'm probably beyond help.
