Printed this a couple weeks back. I have so many shots I wanna print, but finding not much of time to head down to darkroom...

I like the soft lines, and that sharp shadow made by the mug. It certainly holds the eye in the centre.

I have hundreds I need to get on paper, ya get to 50 and time starts wagging it's finger at ya

There are lots of St Spyridon's churches on the island, and throughout Greece for that matter, this one is a few miles west of Kassiopi in the north of Corfu on the beach next to lake Spyridon. At one time lake Spyridon was a mosquito-infested place, the British army cut a canal to the sea and killed off the mosquitos in the first half of the 19 century.

Thanks Jeff, it's a odd spot; that was about 0600 when the sun is up it's like an alien landscape, all sand, salt marsh and gorse. trees grow out of the beach and it's full of dry wind, lizards and scorpions.

I just saw this thread and looked at all the photos. I will go back and look some more. They are wonderful, Stewart. Thank you for starting this thread, and post more of your prints.

There is much to admire here. I particularly like The View North, Old Town Corfu; if I could do prints half as well, I'd be a happy man. The prints of your daughter are also lovely. It appears we are the same age, and are blessed w/ photogenic daughters of a similar age.

Thanks, you’re too kind, yes it is handy having a resident daughter/model around the place … mine bakes too so I really am blessed.

The View North … was dead easy to print, just a bit of burning in the sky. The light that morning was just spectacular, it was impossible not to take nice photos.

Oh that photo is very powerful and it's a beautiful print, Vincent. I'm sure the real print looks even better!

From my trip to Paris. Printed last weekend.

Stewart...

Do you always print including a description and copyright on the border? I've been looking for some alternatives to print signing, and I really like the way your prints appear with their borders.

Cheers...

Rem

I started about two years ago when I rediscovered an old portfolio and I couldn’t remember where or what year I’d done them, so I started adding the titles to alzheimers proof my pics as I get older ;), that and I’m working on a book at the mo that will double as a print catalogue so I thought it best to add the copyright too.
