So I developed a roll of TMAX3200 with what I thought was XTOL. I was going to mix up a new batch, but became lazy and used a brown jug with some liquid in it that I was sure was XTOL. Wrong. The roll came out completely clear, not even the numbers showed up. I'm assuming I had the brown jug filled with water to clean it out and never emptied it. I just want to make sure that was the case and not something else that may have gone wrong.
Kinda sucks because I had shot this roll at a live show. Oh well.

Dev needs to be in sealed bottles even if it is Rodinal... It should also be marked as toxic.

I agree with Noel. My developer bottle is very distinctive and different from all the containers I have. In fact, except for the Photoflo, HCA and Stop solution, my bottles are all different.
Sorry about your mishap. Better luck next time!

Once I was out shooting with my Minolta autocord, I had recently aquired an autopole for it (linear polarizer that covers both lenses with a mechanism that turns both filters at the same time) and couldn't make it work!
I had tested it beforehand at home, and everything seemed ok, when I turned the wheel I could see clearly the effects of the polarizing filter on the focusing screen; but outside the only thing I got were odd swirling colours whose pattern changed depending on how I turned the wheel.
I shot 1 roll without having any control on it, and then it dawned on me: I was wearing polarizing sunglasses! How can someone be sooooo stupid?
