I think everyone knows my fondness for Fujica, especially 35mm cameras and accessories. But this has to be the height of ridiculousness even for this seller.

However I am curious if anybody has every hear of the Fujica 50mm f/1.2? I wonder if this is for some very early RF lens since it appears the hood has an area for a rangefinder window. That would not be necessary with an SLR.

Anybody know anything about that lens?

I've seen some vintage, Fuji LTM lens advertised at ridiculously high prices aimed at collectors, but that one takes the cake.

Hm. I have a Fujica ST701 that can be had for postage. 50/1.8 included. Shutter jammed/wrinkled.

yes, a Leica screw mount Fuji 50/1.2

$4171 for the lens hood...Ahem.
And not 4000, not 5000, but 4171. Where do these people get inspiration?
Mushrooms?

I've got an old Modern Photography magazine with an article about that particular lens. I believe from 1955. I had asked a few questions about it on RFF, since at that point I had never seen it on eBay or elsewhere. Seems to be about as rare as Zunows. Maybe even more so.
