Where I get blank stares here when asking for film, at Yodobashi Camera they have plenty of choice!

I just hope the X-ray didn't do too much damage. Everything above 1600 was allowed to bypass, but the rest had to go through. In Japan they were quite easy about it, but when transfering in Paris the lady had to open every single box down to the very last one. "Yes, this one's also film".

These are not easy to come by where I live. I'm especially curious about the Natura 1600.

I think the first thing I would do after I settled into my hotel in Japan would be to find the nearest film store and just go nuts... I can't even imagine how much money I'd have to bring with me to that country in order to get even some of the stuff I would want.

Except for Tokyo you might be disappointed about the amount and variety of film still in stock at various shops ... A rapid decrease in the recent 18 month 😱

i dont see any effect on my Natura 1600 by passing through X-ray, probably for more than 1 time.

the problem is mine are expired and the grain is so big in low light condition,
they turned into a daylight film... 🙁

Ditto for Kansai. The Yodobashi fridge was cut by 50% in Osaka in order to have a new shelf for photo books.
