I Love My CL

I am loving my CL. This is is not my first. My first one had some serious issues (completely desilvered focus patch and likely other issues) and I paid top dollar for it. I was able to sell it and got so lucky with a seller from Greece that, at least compared to my first CL, was in mint condition with a ridiculously clean and bright viewfinder and focus patch.

I wanted to share some of my more proud pictures with my fellow CL owners. I shot these with the standard 40mm Sumicron, 90mm f/4 Elmar-C, and my increasingly favorite lense, a 21mm f/4 VC. All were shot on either Ilford XP2 BW or Fuji 200 color and developed using Tetanol C41. Negatives were scanned and unedited (maybe cropped) straight out of the camera ...

Right?? I was a bit thrown back by Rockwell's comment, "This Voigtländer is the tiniest, best 21mm there is for Leica." But having used it for some time now I can see where he is coming from.

I will say that the 90mm is pretty awesome too especially at the price point. I was frustrated at first cos it was very difficult to do quick shot street photography but when it comes to getting in close and sharpness, its an awesome lens.
