Haha, nice question! The name I chose for my website when I started it a few years ago, “Il cimento della fotografia”, was inspired by the name of Antonio Vivaldi’s most famous opus, the one containing the Four Seasons. The Italian word “cimento” means excercise, experiment, commitment. And Vivaldi is one of my greatest loves. The funny story that few people know is that his ultra famous work "The Four Seasons" was discovered over 200 years after the composer's death.. (what will happen to my photography too)?

Thank you for answering the question as for your photography I hope you washed and fixed your prints well otherwise the changes of becoming famous 200 years after your death are rather small 🙂

I agree Vivaldi is great I sometimes listen to him in my darkroom unfortunately the Music didn't rub off and make me a darkroom virtuoso maybe I should try Salieri or a bit of Giovanni Batista Lulli for the french twist. 🙂

I find it interesting that my daughter was in Trondheim less than one week ago!

it turns out that my mother-in-law was born and raised in Trondheim so I've heard lots of stories about the city.
