Stupid people here posting images at f1.2 saying how sharp it is wide open and how good it is for low light...
I feel your pain Mark.. 😉

dcsang said:Ok.. I'll have to find some f1.2 nokton shots and post them. But I won't do it in Mark's thread 🙂 I'll do it in another thread - mind you, I'm not at home now but it's going to take me a bit to find them.
I can, though, attest to the sharpness wide open and to any detractors of Cosina-Voigtlander's ability to create lenses with pleasing bokeh. Because wide open at f1.2, the 35mm Nokton has very pleasing OOF areas. More so than their 40mm f1.4 Nokton.

So, you were evading ZI GAS, and that's how you found yourself the new owner of a 50mm Elmar lens? 🙂
I saw it, I liked it, but you saw it first...
Thanks 🙂jaapv said:Well, to compensate for stepping on your soul, I voted for your Big. (I would have anyway, I liked it🙂)
rover said:No, someone beat me to the Elmar. That was just a good opportunity. The ZI is a big investment, I have GAS, but need to figure out if I have the funds to match it.
