Which lab does still offer developing and scanning of 220 film?
PRECISION Camera and Video used to offer such services. Their services list does not show 220 film anymore.

Thank you Huss. I just checked them out. For standard scan it is very reasonable.

Process & standard upload (1830x2740) $10.00
Process & high-res scan to CD (4490x6770) $15.00,

Same cost for 35mm, 120, or 220 film. I have 2 220 rolls and 3 35mm rolls of film. It is either $50 or $75.
Standard shipping cost: $5 for first roll, then $0.50 per roll. It is $7 for my 5 rolls.

You're welcome Raid. They are very reasonable for 220 dev/scan. Every other place I use charge double the 120 price. For scanning I get it. But developing? It is pretty much the same thing.
Anyway, good luck!

I just want to get some rolls with snapshots developed and scanned. There is nothing of artistic or commercial value in them 🙂
In comparison, The Find Lab is more costly, and most likely, its scans are better refined.

Dwaynes did a great job developing my Velvia 220 I shot over the summer. Love looking at those huge velvia negs on a light table. I skipped the scanning and did it myself.

One of our local shops didn't want to develop 220 film, so they quoted $75/roll. without scans. So I took my business - all of it - elsewhere.

We have to do what is necessary to be done, Robert. I have just prepared an envelope for the 5 rolls of film, with payment of $57 to Dwayne's Photo. This is reasonable.

I mailed Dwayne's photo 5 rolls of film this morning. Two rolls of 220 film taken with the SWC, and three rolls of 35mm film taken with the Hologon/M3.

Please report back on the results

Dear Raid,

I'm more concerned about the 35mm film but anything you can report back on will be appreciated.

Hello Tim. I will report back on the scans. I am very curious on how the Hologon will do with a film camera. Hopefully, the edges will be fine.

Have you ever tried loading 220 film onto a reel? :bang:
Yes! 😎 Difficult with the usual small reels, as the wire diameter is small so it's not hard for the film to be pulled over to the next coil... I find it's useful to push the film back toward the core every wrap or so, jiggle it for a loose wrap. The nicest solution though is to get the larger diameter tanks and reels which have larger-guage wire. I have and favor the Kindermann tanks... 🙂
