Jon, I think you're right perhaps a 'photographer a month' should be the basis of a body of work. Mechanics could be worked out subsequently.

Meantime it seems you have traction on the single photograph concept so it should proceed.

There is a parallel thread to this dated Sunday 9 December 2007.

That's where your photo mentions (of photos not at RFF) should go this week.

It should have said week starting Sunday 9 December, not week ending. But we can't see how to change it today.

Mods.: Can you help us out here and change 'Ending' to 'Starting' in the live thread please?

Nice idea, my photographic culture is quite poor so this idea will help me to improve my knowledge. I'll also try to contribute for sure!

Great idea. I am pretty time consumed with the newborn right now, so hard to say to what extent I will be able to participate. Hopefully, I will be able to contribute more to all the image threads in a month or two.
