i think i need a new bag...

and i'm not happy about that!
i have 2 bags that i use now…well, 3 but 2 of them are the same but made of different material.

they both fit my 2 bodies with lenses attached, perfectly (without hoods though) and i thought i was going to be fine with that set-up…but i want to start carrying my third lens with me and there is absolutely no room for it in either bag. so i need a bag that is one lens bigger than my bowery or bbb-e bags.
i could just carry one body and piggy back 2 lenses but i really don't want to.

and now begins the task of searching, again!

I am assuming piggyback two lenses means gluing the rear lens caps together or u mean u don't want to stack lens on top of each other?

The max I like to carry in the field is two bodies and three lenses, but that is a pretty rare.. I prefer to have just two bodies w/ a lens on each.

piggy back wont fit in either bag with both bodies…stacking would be fine, i already have 2 caps glued back to back…
the 23/56 is perfect but i want to add the tiny 16-50 so i can access the 16 when i want.

... which might be just the thing for when I want to pack a travel tripod as well. The Sirui T-025x can almost fit inside it with the A7 and three lenses.

I am of a capricious nature when it comes to kit as I use all manner of cameras from Hasselblad MF to XPan, XPro-1, Voiigtlander rangefinders and SLR / DSLR. I REALLY struggle to find a bag that's suitable but I recently got my hands on a s/hand Billingham 225 with some very soft / protective / compliant inserts which allow a lot of configuration. Hassy 500c/m + 3 lenses, meter, universal hood, film and phone, wallet, etc is a but tight but manageable. Having a bit too much room is a good thing. What will do a lot will do a little....

i'd like to look at a sling bag…i 'sling' my bags behind me now as it is and have been wondering if they might be a natural alternative?
the think tank ones look very nice too!

No question sling bags are very functional. Probably more so than any bag I've used. But I don't like that wide strap across the chest, either the way it feels or looks. The one Godfrey mentions is one of the better looking sling bags I've seen.

I switch around between
- two different sling bags (a timbukt2 and a no name w/ timbukt2 snoop camera insert)
- a fanny pack (w/camera inserts I added)
- a backpack (lowepro when I use my sd1m w/ multiple lenses)

Of all the ones I switch between, the two sling bags get used the most, over 70%)

the retro 5 is too boxy for me…
looked at some sling bags today…and remembered why i don't like them…
the bbb-e will do nicely for the times i want my third lens along for the ride.

However, that does nothing to resolve the real issue, which is that YOU NEED A NEW BAG!

FYI...I sold my new ONA Brixton and ordered two of the Extra Small Camera bags from this artisan in Greece...and i will be posting a review upon arrival. (..and she happily added the heavier straps to the small bags at no charge.)

The 30i works well for CL, extra lens, digital p&s and a tablet.

Mirrorless Mover is a silly name for a great bag.
