been having this feeling that the rd1s was 'off'.
i usually take the rd1 with me when shooting and leave the rd1s at home - unless i am using both bodies on the same day.
after putting together my 'speed' kit, i decided to dedicate the rd1s body to it.
the rd1 would be for the 'slow' kit.
after using this configuration i started to wonder about my fast lenses, my shakey hands and perhaps my eyesight as well, as i was having a heck of a time getting good focus.
tonight i did a quick and dirty 'test'...on a tripod, i shot the fast lenses at their largest aperture and at f8.
i did this on the rd1s and the rd1.
and the rd1 was a clear winner.
the rd1s shots were a tad fuzzy.
it must be off and i think in need of a tune up.
as much as i dislike the idea of sending it off and being without it, clearly i need to do just that.
