This looks very much like the bag I've always wanted but, unfortunately, the only place I see it for sale is a Korean website. If anybody here speak Korean, I would greatly appreciate some assistance in ordering this bag...
 
That does look like a nice bag and about the ideal size for my need for a small kit. I wonder if it's imported to Korea or made there for export?

I did some digging and it seems the Godspeed bags are (possibly) made in China.
 
Larry, thank you for located the manuf link, I just emailed Lisa in Sales, will report on her reply.

Eli, indeed, the Model No: SY528 appears to be more feminine in design. Apart from the laces, the SY619 model seems masculine enough for me though, plus, the price is right :)

Crossing my fingers now...

Bill, that's great! What I would like to do is buy 2-3 of these bags. Not sure how to that most easily, perhaps I could send you the money via paypal and you could order them online for me with my shipping address?
 
This is a copy of a greek design leather bag from the mid 1990's. I know because I have one in dark brown, bought in Athens in 1997.

The only thing they left out are the two small pockets on the left and right sides.

But other than that and the canvas fabric, no change. Looks great!

He should think about becoming a sponsor here. Might sell a few bags! Put the RFF logo on it, right?
 
Looks like a nice sturdy bag. A little busy for me, though. Maybe because it's designed for the ladies.

But hey, my current bag looks/doubles as the diaper bag, so who am I to talk :D

Great idea about the RFF sponsor thing, especially if we get a discount...

Will, I am 43 and have stopped caring about what people say about my bags a loooong time ago (I also carry a diaper bag almost every day) ;)

Andy, LOL!

I am working my way out of vanity, so someday I could be like you. :D

Just to clarify, what I mean by "busy" is that the bag has the nice lining, badges and tassles. I want my bag to look kinda dull and dumb, so people won't even want to see it.
 
Just bought one today! It seems nice & sturdy, and it has extra pockets that I didn't expect.

Actually it's not quite a bargain at aprox. USD$50, since there're very similar bags by better-known maker, selling cheaper here in Taiwan. But this one just looks more attrative to me. :)

Cons:
1. The copper snap hooks look nice, but aren't perticularly smooth to use. Can get in the way when fast action is needed.
2. Kind of busy, as pointed out. I can definitely do without the badges, especially the one on the shoulder pad. It shouldn't be difficult to remove, though.

Over all, I find it an excellent camera bag with more than enough space for my travel kit. I can easily put my Contax G2 w/ 2 lenses + Yashica T5 in there, plus a bottle of water in one of the side pockets.
 
Well, I've had the bag (actually 3 of them :)) for a while now (thanks Bill58 !) and like it a lot. It’s basically become “the” bag for my rf gear unless I need something elegant (then I take my black Billingham Hadley Pro). I’ve replaced the fancy suede tousles with thin brown leather lacing so the sides now look like a football (very manly :cool:). In the bag, I typically carry:
  • R-D1 body with CV 50/1.5 lens mounted
  • CV 28/1.9 lens
  • CV 15/4 lens + 21mm finder
  • Nikon SB-30 flash
  • Fuji F31fd P&S camera
  • Tiny tripod
  • Cable release
  • 3-4 memory cards
  • Extra battery for the R-D1
  • Lens brush and wipes
I really like the side pockets which stay flat, out of the way when you don’t need them but come in handy to carry a water bottle, larger tripod, or 2 extra lenses. The shoulder pad is oh-so-comfy! Overall, I find the bag to be very well padded, apparently water-resistant, and the canvas material its made of appears very difficult to damage. I’ve gotten used to the snaps and can snap/unsnap them without looking, very quickly. Since the top of the bag (under the top flap) zips up, I often leave the snaps off for immediate access to the camera.

Btw, I will be selling a bunch of camera bags that I no longer use here soon :)
