I wonder about travel photography..

Often banal photo's taken on holiday turn out to be significant. I'd suggest taking a camera you're familiar with and taking a lot of photo's. Not all will be brilliant but so what. It's a holiday, you're there to enjoy yourself and not worry. OTOH, studying the usual landscape cliches and so on can pay off.

OTOH 2, do you really want to spend a day or so waiting for the decisive moment and wasting dozens of feet of film? Just relax and enjoy it and take a few snaps...
