Cheers! I also think this image came out really well, IR really balanced out the otherwise harsh contrast between left and right wing when sunlit at around 90 degrees.

Imo your photos are stunning. I particular like your shots from Færøyene (in Norwegian). I hope you one day can visit Finnmark in the north of Norway. This part is a bit like Iceland, both the people and landscape.

Thank you Giorgio! I don't consider myself to be a role model by any means, I'm more of an introvert-type of a person valuing person inner self over the external shell that most people tend to value more highly. Just doing my own thing and live under the motto "Only the dead fish go with the flow", hence rather a very uninspiring person in today's fashionable extrovert-oriented society.
Cheers! I was there in 2007, I really like it but the weather was very bad for over 2 weeks back then. I'll be back someday for better timing!

Then we came close to Landmannalaugar, which is a place in the Fjallabak Nature Reserve in the highlands of Iceland. It is at the edge of Laugahraun lava field, which was formed in an eruption around year 1477. It is known for its natural geothermal hot springs and surrounding landscape, and is extremely popular with hordes of tourists.

Hey Margus, nice to see the travels. I always enjoy this format of trip narrative and photo. I eagerly enjoyed all of your Adventures (eager for the RTW book also, for the 100th time!) and it was very inspiring. I'm not believing the pass of time as I discovered your trip journal to Middle east back in 2011. Long ago! There is also some history under there, sadly knowing how Syria ended up.
I'll have to give a kick to my mountain biking together with photography. Too bad that it's quite hard to do long distances with it over here.
Stayed in Sweden last fall and the landscape was beautiful, even though past October the weather was harder and by the time I could try to visit Iceland, too dark and cold.
But at the end it is the kind that ends up best. I slowly grew into being introspective in this meaning and frankly, never been better, because it's the own interior that matters and navigating the environment. It's also a harder path to reach.

I have a very soft spot for bicycles as well. Hoping to do a longer pedalling trip in not too far future as well.
Not sure about the book, while it's ready, prepared and ready to go we've become stuck finding a decent quality printer who can distribute to US and Europe, we haven't found one...

From there it was a good chance to try out the famous F26 piste. F26 or Sprengisandsleið piste is a highland gravel road in Iceland, running through the Sprengisandur area between the glaciers Hofsjökull and Vatnajökull. There were loads of river crossings.
