Identify the Keepers & Stinkers

That's what I'd keep also. You've done your homework.
I have all of the above except for the Pentax :)

I have all the above apart from 27, which is in fact a zoom and not the original fixed lens stylus epic. I have an original fixed lens stylus epic. In fact I have two. One assembled in Hong Kong the other made in Japan. The Japan one seems better, quieter. For some reason.

Keep everything labelled Olympus, sell the rest...
Ditto on the XA2's and the Stylus. Not sure about the Oly SuperZoom 3000 though.. it hasn't got the sleek looks of the former two, and the 38-110 zoom range must lead to compromises in image quality and lens speed..

That Pentax two lens one should be very nice. I borrowed one many years ago when the Leica CL was back at the factory and was pleasantly surprised.

35 Cameras, The Project Begins
This just made me consciously realize there are 35 indeed.

Well, then it's not a matter of finding the keepers, it's about a 36th one missing..

Get another and a 36 exposure roll of film. Then shoot one frame on that roll in each camera. You'll have lots of fun trying to advance the film to the right spot each time, and your lab will have nightmares from frame spacing problems, but what a project!

Hmmm....NO. Too crazy. :D

You'd have to swap them in pitch black too or at least a blackout bag.

Getting that to work would be a higher probability than winning the lottery!

Not by much. I'd rather buy lottery tickets and pay someone out of my winnings to drive themselves crazy.

Aside from the Olympus XA2 and possibly the Stylus, the rest probably fall into that category of anonymous point and shoots that are easy to ignore and even easier to find at a thrift shop, yard sale or flea market.

If I were buying, the Olympus XA2 might be the only one to catch my eye.

Nice useful thread that I've just chanced to find :) .

I see an Olympus Trip 500 in there (more clearly in the OP's linked flickr posting), and can report on my 'charity shop' purchase specimen. It's effectively like a (noisily)-motorised, re-loadable variant of a disposable camera. Fine just for e.g.flash photography at the kids' birthday party. (BTW the Trip 505 is slightly better, having a glass lens - still fixed - and you can turn off the flash). They both give you a 28mm focal length. But if you can get an XA4 of course it's 'no contest' .
