Dodge & Kodak can split the ad fee since both aren't fairing well at the moment & you will be targeting a niche market for both because guys that buy this car may be the ones to buy this film. Just be sure that the car is standing still.😀

The point is that Kodak is slashing its own throat: while claiming that there is no great demand for film on one hand, they keep telling people that film is dead, so shoot digital.

But back to the commercial idea: appeal to the digital users on their own terms:

"TWELVE GIGAPIXELS PER FRAME"

Just a thought.

If things go the way I guess they may, they won't be competing with themselves. Freestyle (and likely others in other regions) will be their marketing department. Rampant musing/speculation on my part, so don't shoot the speculator, eh? 😎
 
There are enough threads here and else where people express why they prefer film over digital. I´m pretty sure, it´s not "high definition".
 
Sadly we are dealing with the new Kodak so I think the honest tag line should be "Kodachrome: Get it while you can because you just never know".🙁

I think you are right - Kodak seems to be trying to kill off film. Dropping some great film - TechPan, Kodachrome 25/200, HIE, 400UC. They seem to be phasing out small sizes of C-41 and E-6 Chemicals which is making home development very inconvenient.

Maybe the next product release?

I was a loyal Kodak customer for most of my life but when they announced they were getting out of chemical photography that did it. Fuji has vowed to be the last man standing in film and that (and a good product) has earned my customer loyalty. Are you listening Kodak? Joe
