That's the problem - ban who? As was suggested above you need to find out what IP address was the source of the message and proceed from there. And you need the cooperation of the ISP involved.
While that message sounds like a bad chain letter, I would find that upsetting if I received it.
This is another side of the internet that I have never liked.

It really isn't that simple - if the stalker took the extra few seconds to use an anonymous remailer, tracking the IP will be a waste of time. Just using web mail on a public wifi connection will make it impossible to trace to a matching IP used at RFF (unless they are logging on here during the same session).
And for Roger, the problem with paying any attention to it is that the sender of the email is probably reading the thread and getting their kicks knowing that it bothers you.
