IIf film advance problem !!!

Ok,

Everything seems to be working fine with the camera except that once in while the shutter triggers right after I've advanced the film and the main problem is that after 12 shots or so, when I turn the film advance knob, it doesn't move anything... Then I'm forced to wind up the film and put another roll...

Anything I can do?

I have a similar problem with a Leica Standard I have acquired. I have noticed that take up spool is too loose it turns when there is no resistance but as soon as there is resistance it slips on the spindle, but on my iiif the same take up spool is held much more firmly. It sounds like you have the start of the same problem with the spool slipping on the spindle when some resistance builds up after a few shots. I will refer this to the person who services my leica's and see if he has a solution which I will share.
