Received my new to me Ikonta A and took it for a spin yesterday. Shutter purrs like new, but I'm noticing the thumb wheel that focuses the lens is quite stiff depending on how far out of focus I am. Is there a way to simply disassemble and put some light lubricant on it. Thanks

It appears to be almost the same as my Mockba 5. It's not too hard to open up the assembly with a few small tools. However be very careful with the gear train under the focusing wheel, screw them up and your focusing will be off. Tread carefully, Peter

Thanks Peter, I did remove the focus wheel and put some very light sewing machine oil in there with a precision oiler. I also put a drop on the lens helix. Getting better. I see the small rangefinder window on the arm actually rotates, might try a drop or two up there.

I've also adapted my grip so I am using my thumb instead of my index finger to focus, helps a lot .
