Hi,
I recently shot a roll of Ilford Delta 100, pushed at 400 ISO, but cannot find any information on the development time when used with Ilfosol 3, not even on the Massive Development Chart .
Should I stick to the 2.25 x rule for the two stop pushing (i.e. the standard dev time for 100 ISO of that film with that developer, 5min, times 2.25 = 11.15 minutes)?
Or does anyone have any suggestion?
thanks for your help
Maurizio

Microphen or DDX would perhaps give more normal results. These are both 'speed-enhancing' developers, to some extent, so should help make the result look a bit less extreme.
On the other hand - perhaps the two stop push is intentional ? Possibly you want a particular look out of the film. A description of that would be handy.

thanks Martin!
I pushed two stops higher simply because I needed more sensitivity, no other reasons, and I wasn't aware of the particular grain structure of Delta100 that is not so prone to pushing...

just as quick update: I decided to use Xtol instead of Ilfosol 3 to develop the roll, since it's one of the few that allow for pushing this kind of film, due to the tabular shape of its grains.
I'll update the post with the results when the developer arrives at my shop (it wasn't on stock, so I'll have to wait few days)
