Just for kicks, while on the Ilford website, I submitted a photo for one of their galleries. I was pleased to see that it actually made it in.

This made me wonder: Does Ilford approve all non-offensive photos submited to their site, or just the ones that have some merit? Hmmm. . . .

The answer is probably in the fact that my photo made it to their site. Oh well, it was an ego boost until I really thought about it.

Thats a nice photo. Well worthy for publication in their gallery. I wish I could get out of this slump i'm in, and take something worth sending in. What did you shoot it with?

funny, I found thier site the other day and was looking through some of my pan f+ stuff, congrats on the approval!

Thanks to everyone.

I shot the sunflower with PanF+ using my (ahhemmm slr hemmmmm) with a distagon 35mm lens at 2.8 with a yellow filter.

Sorry about the SLR thing, but I can't afford a decent rangefinder right now (baby #2 is on his/her way). My Yashica Electro 35 got all buggy on me, and when I opened it to adjust the rangefinder, I snapped the winder off the camera (stupid, stupid, stupid). So, most of my pictures are with the Contax, but I enjoy this forum so much, and all the information I get, I shoot a roll with my broken GS every once and a while just to pretend I am an RF shooter. (I superglued the winder back on, but the RF went out of focus again, so now all my shots are blurry. ARghh)

Is the yashica a GSN I have a parts camera. Sent you a pm but you may not have gotten it. Thing is the winder works but has a slip in it when you go to advance the film, so it might not do you any good. Let me know what the problem is maybe I can help you out.
