Going to buy some DD-X or Microphen for a small project using Delta 3200
Which should I go with?
What other films do DD-X and Microphen work well for? I have a stash of Neopan 400

Both are typical push type developers for higher speed films. Neopan 400 on E.I. 800 will also feel very well in it.

DDX works good for both of Ilford ISO 400 films HP5+/Delta 400 also work well for T-Max 400.

If one believes what Ilford puts on their Film fact sheets (PDF) than DDX is the "Best overall image quality, Finest grain and Maximum sharpness when used with pretty much any Ilford film from Pan F to Delta 3200.

You just know I'm gonna suggest you try a roll each way and chose your favorite, the films cheap enough . Peter

So far I've been scanning and I would like to print one day,

Something like THIS:

Printed on Fomabrom Variant. Neopan 400 is already for a long time discontinued in Europe so I found a simmilar type of film: Rollei Retro 400(S). Very sharp, fine grain only it pushes far not the same as Neopan 400. But it is available on 35mm and 120 roll film format. The day that Fuji started to discontine Neopan 400 in 120 roll film format was for me a sad day .....
