Ilford PanF plus and T-Max developer

I need help with the development times using kodak T-Max for an ilford pan f plus 50 iso! The ilford chart gives me 4 m but I check digitaltruth and it's the smae time, but there is a not saying that one person used this time time and got poor results! Advice please!

Other question is, should I shot at iso 50 or try it at other iso like 80 or 100?

Part of the problem is that development times less than 5 minutes, minor imprecisions can have a noticable effect. Do you have another developer you can use? If not, you could shoot it at ISO 80, then use the second entry in the Massive Dev Chart (1+9 dilution). That temp is given at 24C for some reason; that translates to 9 min at 20C.

Dilute the developer 1+7 or 1+9 instead of 1+4, it'll give a longer dev. time. I never tried it with Pan-F, but on Tmax 400 the 1+7 dilution looked beautiful.
