I already voted: a trip. However, more often than not, I find myself salivating for a Mamiya 645e... To think last year I missed one system in eBay for $300! :(

But, all things considered, I'd take a shooting vacation with my gear.

Yes, a trip. Just me, my Bessas and 3 lenses. I already spend too much time looking for new gear :D

A trip, and, hotdiggety, next mont I'll go to Mongolia again! In three weeks time I'll be there. :)

Indeed, a trip.

Indeed, a trip.

How about a trip to a really boring and commonplace location. I am finding it more rewarding (and difficult) to be able to photograph what is right in front of me. In the end I find the pictures have more personal meaning and signifigance as images. As I get older I find that 90% of my photographs are taken within a 2 mile radius of my home, as oppossed to the opposite some years ago.

I guess that means I just want a new lens then:)

dd,
remind me...how old are you?

and i can't believe it but i voted for an exotic location. i don't really like travelling much any more but i'm tired of the cold and i want to roam some streets and shoot.

I agree about the cold, although I assume Canadians have it a bit more rough than Bostonians. Right now I am older than young but younger than middleage. In reality I would vote for the exotic trip as well (if it was paid for and I had the vacation time) but I have to go to Florida next week for work anyway.

Depends on location. Toronto (where I work) is very like Boston.

Get ye' bum over here in the spring, and we'll street shoot to your hearts content. Portland is a street shooter's paradise. I'll supply the Neopans & focusing fluid.

tempting offer...

i actually really enjoy edmonton in the warmer weather.
i think because it's so hard to do anything in the winter (if you're not into skating/skiing) that the spring & summer is packed with lots of outdoor activities.

I'm going to Cancun in a few weeks so I voted for the lens, unfortunatly money is the object!

Well I just went to a Photorama show in Arlington, VA today and BLEW my WAD! Some of the bargains:

Komura 200mm F4.5 in LTM COUPLED to the RF: $55;

Canon 58mm F1.2 in Canon FL mount, EX+: $50

Rollei SL35 w 50mm F1.8 HFT: $85

Nikon F2 Photomic Early Production 71014xx, EX-: $75

AND a Canon VT w 50mm F1.2, both EX+ with a perfect VF/RF, some haze that I can clean: $450...

So when you guys see the Photorama shows advertising in your area, give them a try!! The dealers are very nice and like to chat. The same guys have been doing them for a long time. I have been going for 15 years now, and am vener dissappointed.

Right now I keep oggling the SC mount Cosina wide angles at Cameraquest. I really need to just go ahead and get one and be done with it. I just can't decide which one...

Hi, Todd! So it's Cancun? When?

I may have voted for the trip (and, to me, an exotic location simply means NOT in the U.S.), but just yesterday I sent payment for a 'cron 90/2 exactly like the one you used to have: a monster with a tripod mount, in black.

Lucky you... Cancun must be a pretty place.

Better not say a word. A year ago, I was getting ready to go to Barcelona in March.
