I've seen the light. This site is hard to access more often than not (I understand the current issues), KEH's website is STILL nearly impossible to use because you have to wait, and wait, and wait for their server, sites like yahoo and many others have so much flash advertising waiting to load that they freeze my computer up....just exactly why am I paying all this money every month for high speed (allegedly) internet service?
Not to mention that my internet provider, who is also my cable TV and phone provider, has lied from day one about nearly everything related to our bill and the stuff we're supposed to receive, but never do. Cable TV companies, phone companies, internet providers....what a mine field! Obviously something is very wrong w/ the web. It's overloaded possibly? From what little I know about broad band's capabilities, I suspect it's more a matter of the service providers ineptness, and unwillingness to buy better equipment.
So we're going back to a simpler, hopefully happier time. It will be either dial up internet and basic phone service, or get rid of it all and have a cell phone. Just use the internet at the library for free. If nothing else this will save us a bunch of money for dubious service, and keep me off internet forums and fleabay, where the whole thing is so addicting I waste much of my time doing basically nothing of value.
I am convinced it's a case of less is more. Less dealings with corporate weasels, less money being removed from our hands = more control over our lives. Now, if I can just get this to post!

Remote servers that hosts sites like this don't see the difference between your bundled services or dial up.
If anything your provider throttles you. And so will your new one in one way or another.
