I'm too stupid to post attachments here!

I know I have done it before, but I can't figure out right now how to post an attached image with a picture in a message - I tried to click that 'manage attachments' button, but nothing happens...?

click the 'Go Advanced' option underneath the 'quick reply' text box.. that'll give you the option to attach an image

Brett, that's what I tried - does not work; the button is there, but nothing happens when I click it.

ManGo, nope, nothing fancy; I have pop-ups enabled in Firefox, and I run AntiVir and ZoneAlarm; I have posted attachments before, that's why this is so strange.

Hmm, it seems to work with the Internet Explorer, there an upload box pops up when I cklick the button...

Here's a photo for you Roman.
I used "Go Advanced" button at the end of the thread, entered the text of the post, and used "Manage Attachments". You might want to open the "Manage Attachments" window in a new tab, instead of in a new window, particularly if you have Java and JavaScript disabled...

And then use "Preview Post" button to make sure it's attached - otherwise you won't see it, and won't know whether it's attached or not.

PS: I'm using Mozilla under Linux - I noticed it won't work as usual if I disable Java and javaScript, which I did a few days ago, due to a security issue/vulnerability with hujacking JavaScript input boxes 🙁

Anyway, the above process indeed works, as the photo proves 🙂

Denis,
I also tried that, and I do have Java and JavaScript enabled - still does not work.
But I can just use the Explorer whenever I want to attach an image to a message - not perfect, but workable.

Roman, you might also check out your security settings and popup windows permissions - that could be the issue...
I think they're disabled by default - although if it worked before, and now it doesn't (without you changing anything), I'm not sure I get it, unless some malicious site messed up your configuration. Anyway, check out popup permissions.

OK, figured it out, Adblock (a Firefox add-on that blocks up banner ads) was the culprit...
