Stunning images, Seen it all before with the huge amount of coverage the disaster has received but none as successful and impressive as these. Brilliant work
Thank you, I appreciate the feedback.

Mister E,
Simply awesome!
This tsunami has made a huge impression on people all over the world. Not the least the children. Like here in Norway, a country with a long coastline. We had problems calming them and reassuring them that it is very little likely this can happen here. Particularly: Our thoughts go to all the children left without their parents after this catastrophe.

Thanks for the pics Mr. E. Gives me a sense of the continuing struggle just to get by and the that I can never understand just how completely these lives have been destroyed and changed.. The house cut in half is particularly poignant for me...

I don't want to sound like I'm glorifying pictures of other peoples suffering, but these are the best pictures I've seen of this disaster, they really show the scale of destruction - especially the wide format ones.
Monstrous destruction, I want to go there and help out.

Well said. I found myself examining every one of these photos for a second time and they are no less powerful than the day I first saw them. Really fantastic work Nate.
To me these pictures exemplify the power of still photography and hopefully they will motivate many to help in any way they can. Whether it be tourist dollars or donations to relief organizations, every little bit helps.
All I can say is...amazing.
