images: fuji 27/2.8

In terms of wider than the 27, I have the 14, 18 and 18-55 Helen.

Overall, the 14 is the best of the three. The 18 on the zoom is better at the edges/corners then the 18f2. I don't shoot w/ the 18f2 very often after getting the dp1m and Ricoh gr. If you take the type of shots where u don't have anything critical at the edge it should be fine. I like it, but not as much as like the 28fov from the gr or dp1m. But then again, I don't tend to worry about how good the edges are so long as they are good enough for my needs. Off should be about the sames as othe xf grade x mount lenses since it has the 9 leaf rounded aperture leafs.

i like the 18 as much as the 27…it is plenty sharp.
the 14 is a great lens but bigger…the 18 is the next smallest lens to the 27.

Just got mine, no images to show yet. I do have an image of the lens on my X-E1 :)

Now re: Fuji lenses
Is the 18mm as sharp and have an overall smooth oof
Like the 27 pancake ???

Helen, I can't see the 18mm being bad for you and your style of photography. You can borrow mine if you'd like to try it out for a week or so (Though I know you're not in the area lately).

My 27 from the big sale (ordered back in February) finally shipped, ETA Tuesday.

I am thinking an X-M1 might make a nice rear lens cap for grab-n-go when the XP is too much!

Out and about Fuji XE1 w/27f2.8 mix of shots from Golden Gate Park and Clement area Chinatown.

My guess is the kids lost the bet. No sooner than this set went by another mother son set came by about 3 minutes behind these guys..

Clement area Chinatown - playing around with reflections - the pastry chief gets to a work area where he can see the world around him, but does he really have the time to even look?
