images: fuji 35/1.4

I went to a Fuji eXperience workshop in Rome and finally had a chance to play a bit with the X-Pro1 and 35mm combo, as well as with the XE-1 and the 18mm. Being a X100 user, I immediately felt at home with the X-Pro1. It feels great in my hand. Now I want one :)
I was also able to shoot a few pictures on my memory card. This is one of them. I'm impressed.

This lens looks like a heck of a performer!

I'm thinking of the X-Pro (1 or upcoming 2) as a future digital body, everybody I've asked about that camera has pretty much instantly said "get the 35/1.4 first"...seems like sage advice.

The 35 and 21 for me are the current two best... But 40 perspective is my favorite.. So I am waiting for the 27 pancake.

The optics are top notch, but the AF speed compared to the 18/2 is on the slow side, especially in low light.

I rather like her^^ portrait on the iPad, though I don't imagine she shot it as a black and white image :)

My 35mm 1.4 is winging its way to me as I type and I'm very much looking forward to it, currently I'm using my old Nikkor Ais 28mm f2.8 which is a lovely and very very sharp old lens but I would like to play around with this lens now...I've seen too many great shots on this thread!
