This lenses was 1st produced in 1948 in Kiev, and in the Arsenal Factory (Icon = a prism with a arrow though it).
Mine is an early 1953 (5300400, Model PT7520), pictured above
Model: PT7520, made from 1951-1960 in limited quantities, the 1st Model not listed using Zeiss Glass...
PT7505-1948-9, 100% Zeiss Glass, The earliest known S#000007 1948
PT7510-1948-9 very early ones has 100% Zeiss Glass.
PT7515-1949-50 has all or partial Zeiss Glass in them.
..the year was stamped on the brand ring from 1948 - 1950.
From 1951 on, the year code was part of the S#. (5300400)
PT7520-1951-1960.. S# was coded with the year of manufacturer.
...1st model that did list any Zeiss Glass used.
