Importing an M6 into Australia

I had my black M6 and 35 'cron asph listed on eBay about a month ago before I got cold feet and pulled the listings. Still mulling over whether I should keep them or get a *cough* DSLR *splutter*

I bought a nice Wetzlar chrome M6 on eBay just over a year ago from a bloke in Sydney too, so yeah you do see them around from time to time. Just be patient!

Personally i'd keep both locus. I have an entry level DSLR plus my IIIC, and I find that I use both pretty much evenly. DSLR is great if i'm going down to the coast for a weekend or something, and I just want to take some photos to email around to friends. It's also great for just pure experimentation.

Whereas my IIIc is great for just taking anywhere. I might see something interesting or just feel like walking around taking photos with no urgency, and so film is perfect for that kind of situation.

I prefer film over digital just because of the process involved, but having both is always good.

Yeah that's kinda how I was thinking too. I tried out an M8 for a while and decided it wasn't for me... I think the full frame M9 might be a better option, but I don't have that kind of money 🙂

Film is more satisfying than digital, but I really need to sort out the dark room at my folk's place. My Focomat V35 is sitting there all lonesome and unloved...
