Jamie - As per my initial post, I used the rather clunky and decidedly 90's looking Polaroid 636 Close Up. You can pick them up for peanuts nowadays. And yeah, there's plenty of different Impossible films now. B&W and colour for both SX-70 and 600. Also colour for Spectra (which I have my eye on) and also Impossible have recently released a very limited edition cyanograph emulsion for the SX-70. More to come, I'd suspect!

Looking forward to more on this thread. I have a pristine SX-70 that I would like to use, but balk at the price of the Impossible film. Maybe I shouldn't, because it's not really more expensive, in todays dollars, than the film was when the SX-70 came out.

There's nothing in it, as the make up of the dev paste is the same. Only the format is different. As such, there has been a production issue with Spectra films recently, but its still available & Impossible is still a very young company, so you have to expect (and learn to love) hiccups.

It may not be the case, but a lot of the other results shown here look like what I was getting before I learned to not allow the film to see *ANY* light at all after being ejected from the camera. The old UV and pre-UV+ were just terrible in this regard.

I did everything wrong here: subjects in full sun, overexposed, film accidentally exposed to UV light in early stages of development. But still, I like it. Impossible 600.

I like it too. All I want to do is shoot polaroids cause I have lost interest in photography really. But I love taking snapshots with my polaroid cameras. No matter how boring my composition or subject matter, I always find the pictures interesting.
