Impressions from NYC..

Hi all RFs..

Some time ago I posted some travel questions to NYC as I was going there for a training course and some holiday..http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127878

My wife and I had a great time in the Big Apple despite the freezing cold temperatures in Jan/Feb and a snow blizzard..Here are some street scene impressions from the visit – all captured with Fuji X100 or Canon 5D el classico.

take pictures of them, that's style!

Really fantastic. The one with the ladies in the fur coats and the one of the scary steps were my favorites.

For just being in NYC for a limited time, you made good use of it.
Good selection and you carefully avoided the "postcards", nice job.
Several shots I have done myself (e.g. tree shadows and windows on museum wall).
Slightly different focus though

Thanks icebear..I took app. 2k shoots during the 3,5 weeks in NYC and have app. 100 keepers beside the traditional vacation shoots..

They didn´t see the photo coming, and I think most of them didn´t reliased that I took a photo of them..

The cool guy from the metro was not on purpose as he looked pretty badass..but he just walked into the scene as I was pressing the shutter..

Hi all - thank you all for the postive response...I glad my like the pcis..NYC is a fantastic city to photograp in and I hope to get a new chance to do it again..
